Error code 9000

Hi,

we use Project Server 2007 in our PMO. In Project 2007, one of my users
keep having error code 9000 on his workstation. He can open the project (in
read/write mode) but he can't save his modifications. He's the only one
having this problem in the group of 20 users.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Eric,

This is an exception per http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa204425(office.11).aspx#exception
Is this happening on for one project or for all the projects?

Thanks,
Ravi.

Hi Ravi,

it happens for all the projects but only for this specific user. And the
problem randomly occurs. It didn't work yesterday and now it works. We
tried to fix the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling Project Pro 2007.
It doesn't make a difference.

Any suggestions ?

Regards,
Eric

Hi Eric,

Can you please try all these operations with the same user on a
different computer. If that doesn't show up the error again, you need
to login to the user's computer as administrator and delete the
profile of the user and have it recreated.

If the user gets the same proble on other computer too, please
capture the ULS logs at that particular time when user gets error
message. There might be something more informative.

Thank you,
Ravi

Hi, Any resolution for this as it just popped up on our environment? Looks
like mainly a connectivity/loss of while Project accesses the DB for a save?
