I have a problem with an error code: 9102. The exact error
message is "An exception occurred in the Project Server.
Project Server encountered a problem with this error code:
9102. Please contact your server administrator."
The error occurred when trying to publish the assignments.
The first action undertaken by MSP is to save the project
plan. Sometimes it works and then displays the above error
message other times it displays the following message:
The server returned an error while processing your
request. The error could be caused by one of the following:
The URL specified is not valid or is not a project server
Internet Explorer is set to work offline
The server could not process your request
An internal server error occurred.
I verified the URL and made sure that IE is online. I
tried to save the project plan before submitting the
publish request to see if this works. This worked every
time.
I initially thought it was due to a network problem, but I
tested the connection in Tools/Enterprise Option/Microsoft
Office Project Server Accounts. The connection test worked
fine. I can also logon to the project server using Web
Access.
Hopefully some one could help me with this problem.
