Error Connecting OWC Pivot Table to SSAS 2005

Has anyone encountered the following error connecting an OWC Pivot Table to
SSAS 2005?

The query could not be processed:
- Property name was not recognized, 'EXTENDED PROPERTIES'

The same web page with the OWC pivot table has no issues connecting to an
SSAS 2000 cube.

I may be wrong, but isn't this functionality disabled?
