Error connecting to Project Server

When a user tries to connect to Project Server from Project Professional she
receives the following error:

Could not connect to Server
Project was not able to connect to Project server because of the following
error:
Client:loading the request into SoapReader failed.

I tried to Google a solution was unsuccessful. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is only this user on this pc, I would probably re-install Project Pro.
There may be some issue with the installation.
