I have stumbled thru this on Technet and Google but can't come up with
anything.
Running Access 2003, I try to create a DAta Access Page and it always tell me
the OLE Server isn't registered.
The message is as follows:
This error can appear if an attempt is made to save a form or a report as a
data access page in an Access project (ADP) file and a combo box or list box
control on the form or report has a RowSource property set to the name of a
table, view, or function.
Set the RowSource property of the control to the name of a stored procedure
or an SQL SELECT statement that selects only the proper field(s).
This only happens on my worstation, ironically the one workstation I need it
to work. All other workstations perform this job flawlessly but I can't bump
someone off of their work station to do this.
This is a drawback to having a VLK for Office. I don't even get the free
phone call for 2 issues. LOL they say I need to speak with the IT department
and I tell them I AM the IT department.
I would greatly appreciate any help trying to figure this one out.
I am not using the CHart wizard or anything like that, I have tried all of
those. Even reregistering DLL's, Detect and Repair, as well as Uninstall and
Reinstall.Office 2003 Pro with SP2 and Windows XP with SP2
Thanks
anything.
