Error creating sharepoint site while creating project via PDS

Hi,

in my application I am creating projects via PDS call. Project server
is configured to create Sharepoint-Sites automatically. This works fine
on our test machines.

However on the system of our customer we get the error message 9123
(rsExceptionCreateSharepointSite). If a project is created manually, it
works fine as well. So it shouldn't be a general msp-wss configuration
problem.

(Windows Server 2003, Project Server 2003, SQL Server 2000 Standard -
all on the same machine)

Has anyone an idea what could be the reason?

A new info: Maybe the msxml3.dll is responsible. But I don't know what
the problem is. We have the newest version. The error code is:
