Error displaying My Tasks : Project Server 2007

Hello,

I have a single project in my Project Server 2007. I have assigned a task to
a resource. When this resource wants to look in "My task" in PWA, he get "an
unexpected error" and nothing is display !

Any idea how to solve this ?

Thanks

Make sure the user is in a group with view permissions (should be Team Member
by default), also that global permissions have been set from the proper
template.

I am also getting this problem. In my case, all other appropriate resources
can see their tasks just fine, but one resource (namely, me) who is an
administrator cannot- I get this error message instead. I *can* see my tasks
display in the My Schedule calendar, I can click on an individual task and
see assignment details just fine (from the calendar), I can load the project
into the Project 2007 client and edit and publish just fine. Every other
feature of PWA seems to work, but for some odd reason, having anything to do
with My Tasks will bring up this error.

I've changed every permission I can think of to try and track down a pattern
and I've come up completely empty. It feels like corrupt data in the SQL
database even though others have no problems and i can see my tasks in other
ways. Any attempt to create a new My Tasks view doesn't help either.

I'm so out of ideas. The only thing I can think of doing now is creating a
whole new user and reassigning all the tasks to them - not quite the way I'd
like to spend my day if possible. Any ideas on this? Project Server 2007,
SQL 2000 SP3a, MS Server 2003.

Thanks-

Jesse

Thanks for the response Mike- I attempted to follow those instructions but I
couldn't get passed the part where I need to go to File --> Save Offline as I
didn't see that option in my Project 2007 client.

I did appear to "fix" the problem however- for those who happen to run into
it. Not sure how applicable it would be to everyone, but I took the project
inside the client application and republished it as a new project. Then
deleted the old project from the server. Now everything works fine. o_O I
can access the My Tasks view without any problems. I have multiple projects,
and the one apparently giving me grief was the most complex. Probably not
the most elegant solution, but works...

Cool. Sometimes "works" is better than "elegant". Good to know the binary
rebuild won't work in 2007. Too bad, it was a nice trick--we've been able to
fix several issues that way. We're moving slowly toward 2007...
