I get the above message when I log onto Outlook Express.
I've already contacted ntlworld broadband to check that
everything is set up correctly and it is. The broadband
medic program keeps suggesting it resets stuff but this
knocks out accessing Yahoo! email on broadband. Before
ntlworld broadband reset my computer so that I didn't need
to resort to dial up to connect to Yahoo! it worked fine.
Spoken to them since. They suggested reinstalling OE. Done
this, it still doesn't work. So I have to go to webmail to
read ntlworld emails.
I can live with this but it was so much easier to get
ntlworld and hotmail through OE.
The other option is to contact helpline with the OEM but
last time I did that, I spent £20 in £1/minute phone calls
(to a call centre based in India) and they didn't resolve
the problem - an online friend in Oz did that for me! LOL
Any suggestions?
Thanks
