Error during BCM Database Backup Process

Hi:

I use to do a backup of the database on a regular basis, but now
can't complete the backup process. An error is shown just afte
starting the backup "Errors during the backup. The backup stoped"

Does anybody have the same problem? how could I solve it?

Thanks in advance

Hi

Can you go to Business tools > manage database > check for error and see it
if detect any errors ?Also does it happen for a new database ?In case the
error still occurs you can try the following

Go to start > run > services.msc and stop the servcies for Windows
Management Instrumentation Service then browse to
C:\windows\system32\wbem\repository
and rename repository to repositoryold. Then restart the Windows Management
Instrumentation Service .This normally works but caution advised.

I have the same message and your response seems interesting. However, when
reading about the service the possible consequences seem rather ominous. In
real life, what are the potential consequences and is this really a safe
thing to do? I'm willing to try it, but do not want to have to re-install
applications etc.

Thanks! -- Larry
