Hello All,
I am getting this error and my entire 500 page document gets filled
with "Error! Hyperlink Reference not Valid" monster. This is what I
have.
A word document of 500 page with 4 main sections in table. Within each
section there are sub-sections , sub-sub sections which are linked by
bookmarks. Originally, only navigation was linked by bookmarks. But
when someone wanted to change the text, they use Find-Replace, which
had its own pros & cons. So, I used UserForm & Macros to allow user to
update at once all the place.
For that, I created 70 more bookmarks and then replaced static titles
with REF fields refereing to corresponding bookmarks.
The weirdest thing about this, is that it only happens after 6 or 7
times, I use the macro without closing the document. Upto 5 times, I
can successfully update the entire document and it works fine. But
about 6th or 7th time, it screws up completely.
I would really appreciate any suggestions. I have to turn this
document to our users asap.
I have tried to look for MS KB, google other posts and applied, Detect
- Repair all of them. No help......
Can someone please help me?
Many thanks in advance,
SR
