Error in Creating WSS Site from PWA

Hi all

When i try to create a WSS site from
Admin > Manage Windows Sharepoint Services > Manage Sharepoint Sites

I get a error message in popup as
"Error occured when creating site.Site does not seem to exist"

can anyone please suggest me how to go about this

Any chance the project has a dash or other non alpha/numeric character in
the name?

There are no such characters

project name is like "Car Sales "

Hi Srujan

Have you been updating your WSS site template. If so this would indicate
that this file has somehow been corrupted according tp project server. I
personally have had this occur when I have based customised lists off the
base issues list provided by project server.

Maybe some help to you?

Actually i didnt change any settings and alreay created WSS sites are
working fine , can you please suggest me the workaround for this problem

i jst refreshed the connection and restrated projectserver
