Error in module HUNGAPP when I try to open a file

Hello from Spain.

System:
Windows XP Pro SP1
Word 2k

When I push "File Open" button in Word, I get an error in module HUNGAPP. My
documents default path in Word is located in a server, and there are a lot
of files and folders.
If I open a file directly through the explorer, I can do it without problem.
If I change the documents default path in Word to a local folder, I can open
files with no problems.
.... but that configuration (server located) was running during three months.

Any suggestions?

I'll try your solution, but my problem is not when I open Word, but when I
try to open a file inside Word. As I have the default path for word files in
a network folder with a lot of files and folders in it, when the window is
displaying its content, I get the error in module HUNGAPP.
