It is both memory and temp file space related
128 MB is marginally low just for Win XP Pro
- consider adding some memory
Also w/ that low memory always clean out your temp files
Have you tried the usual repairs in the sequence below:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) In Windows Explorer clean out your TEMP files - Usually in %TEMP% and in IE clean out your IE Temp Files
| Well, I did look at that page - am already closing the site and reopening -
| so I know that works, will try the going from edit to code view - it just
| started happening though so was wondering if it will progress to melt down
| ... I did notice that its when I have a lot of pages already opened ... so
| maybe its a memory thing and I need to only have a few pages open and
| working on them
|
| thanks though
