Error in Outlook 97

Anyone have any idea on how to fix the error "Can't open
Item. The Operation Failed?" whenever I try to open one
email within Outlook 97. Is there a way to delete the
message because I receive the message that the operation
failed whenever I try.

Try holding the Shift key then press the Delete key. This might work to
delete the message.
