Error in re-installing Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student Edit

Few days ago i had to format my computer. Today i tried to re-install the
Office 2007 Home and Student Edition but an error occured. More specifically:

Error 2203 An internal error has occured. (C:\Windows\Installer\e05691.msi -
2147287035 ) Contact microsoft product support service (PSS) for assistance
for information. For information on how to contact PSS see the file
C:\Users\BC11~1.CHA\AppData\Local\Temp\Setup000004e4\PSS10R.CHM.

I tried to search for the PSS10R.CHM file but it's not in that folder (nor
in any other folder in my computer).
This was the 3rd format in my computer (which had already the Office 2007
installed). The box says i have permission to install it in 3 computes. What
is going to happen now ?

Can not find answer to simple problem. Old laptop died. Bought new laptop.
Need to recover Office Home and Student 2007 license from old laptop. I have
the old disk drive. Various threads point to phone activation, but I can not
get to the point to see the phone number. Keep getting " '0' is not a valid
character in a Product Key". Please provide direction if possible.

Could it be that you need to type an "O", rather than a "0"? Or vice-versa?
