Error in Word.exe

Word 2000 was working fine. Now before the programs fully
loads the error msg read " window has caused an error in
Word.exe, try restarting. I "repaired" Word and even
removed then reinstalled, and even tried to run Word just
from the CD. I just get the same error. Help!!!
