Error in

I am getting the following error when attempting to send
the document as an email from Word (and Excel, as well):
Word could not load e-mail envelope. This could be
caused by a network connection problem or a problem with
your Office installation.
I check the following web site and found the directions
didn't solve the problem.

I am running Outlook 2003 with Office XP. Any
suggestions?

Do you have Outlook set as your default Email application?

Yes, it is. It will let me send the document as an
attachment but not as the message body.

I can only suggest that maybe Word or Outlook or both are incorrectly
registered in Windows. With both closed, go to Start, Run and register Word
by typing in

windows /r

and press enter. Then register Outlook by typing in

outlook /regserver

and press enter. This will reregister both.

When I do that, I get the following error: Windows
cannot find 'windows'.

Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try
again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and
then click Search. (windows /r)
and
The command line argument is not valid. Verify the
switch you are using. (outlook /regserver)

If I uninstall Office, can I reinstall it or will the
registration factor prevent it?

Oops.Typing too quickly. That should have been winword /r and not windows /r

Still not working. Probably conflict between the two
versions of the programs.
Thanks.
