Error installing updates for Office 2000

Having had to reformat and reinstall, I am having problems applying the
Office 2000 SP1 update. I keep getting error 1321 followed by error 2318.
I am running XP Home. Error 1321 says the installer does not have sufficient
administrator privileges to update some dll files.
Can anyone assist?
