I am trying to reload and get back my computer after it crashed. Entourage will receive email from my mac account but it won't send it. I get the error message of -3260. I can't find any help in fixing this problem. Thanks in advance for any help. It was all working fine before I had my hard drive crash.

You can see this link <http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=824887>, but it's
basically saying there is a problem with the account. I would recommend
deleting the account in Entourage. Select Work Offline. Under Tools in the
Menu bar select the account and click on delete. Find the password in the
Keychain and delete it there too. Now add the account back. Select work
online and it should work. If not, then test in a new Identity. It's
possible your database was corrupted during the crash.

I also advise downloading the Apple combo updater and letting it refresh
your files. Combo updaters will install on the same version as they¹re
applying‹no need to roll back or do a clean install.
