Error message 553

Same as other people, yesterday I tried to send emails and I got an error
message. I could receive but not send. I tried all the usual things several
times.
My version is Outlook 2000 version 9.0

"Same as other people" doesn't help if you aren't replying in an existing
thread - what exactly are you having problems with, and what is the error
message? Also, what are the "usual things"? What kind of mail accounts do
you use?

Sorry. Not used this service before. Problem in sending mail. Error message
553 says Mail delivery error response 553 : one of the recipients was not in
my list of rctp hosts. Have checked all settings, incoming and outgoing, but
cannot resolve it. It only affects SOME outgoing mail.

OK - sounds like you need to authenticate to your SMTP server in your mail
account settings.
