Error message 9573

Hi guys,

When I want to open a project that is saved on the project server
(2003) within Project Professional (2003), I get the following error
message:

"An exception occured in the Project Server.

Project Server encountered a problem with this error code: 9573.
Please contact your servere administrator."

The problem is, I have set up this system (as the Admin) for like a
week now and have not observed anything go wrong, but I may just be
missing it.

I have done a many Google searches like '9573 "exception occured"' and
so forth with no results. I would appreciate it if you could help out.

Thanks for your help in advance,
Amir

I am the original poster of this question. I have not updated
anything, except that I made the subject line more descriptive. May I
ask if someone could list at least the few steps that would comprise
their own approach (even if you know it might not work), in the order
you would try them yourself?

Thanks!

Sorry guys, please ignore the "I am the original..." follow up
message; I meant to post it to another thread...

I've seen the 9573 error message twice in the last few weeks. What each
file has in common is the presence of inactive enterprise resources that for
some reason are appearing as "active" in this plan. The error seems to
start small as a spooler error 0X8C040017 - manager cannot create resource
account. Next thing we have a 9573 on our hands.

My only recourse now is to do the remedial troubleshooting - backup as .mpp,
delete from server and reimport.
