Error message after office patch application

I can no longer send or receive pop/smtp using Outlook
2002 after applying the latest MS security patches for W2K
and Office2002. It still works from my other system (XP)
with the latest office and XP updates.

Any ideas?

Error Msg is:

Task 'MSN - Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your
incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive
this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'
