Error message at start to load word

Every time I try to open a word file I get a Microsoft
error message telling me to send in this notification of
error. Whether I send or don't using the relative button
the files wil not load. The same happens even if I try to
bring up a blank document. About the same time as this
problem started, one of the buttons on my external mouse
also stopped working. I am using a DELL Inspiron 8500
laptop.
