Error message: C::.

When I cut & paste texts from websites, sometimes, I get the following message

The disk is full trying to write to C::. Free some space on this drive, or save the document on another disk

Try on or more of the following
* Close any unneeded documents, programs, and windows
* Save the document on another disk

My C drive has more than 10Gig free space, and even when I save a file to a different drive, I get this message
And it doesn't seem to be affected how many windows are open because sometimes it happens when 7 windows are open, and sometimes even with 2 open

I have read Microsoft's tech notes for this type of error message, although not exactly the same

What is this C::. ?

Hopely somebody can help me

Have you checked file permissions on the drive you are saving the file to?
