A PPT was created in Office 2003 on someones home PC and when it was brought
in to work from home the file would open using PPT 2000 not PPT 2003. When
we try to open the file using PPT 2003 we are getting the following error.
"Can not open file b/c part of the file is missing." Any way to get around
this to view the PPT using PPT 2003?

In PPT 2003, go to Help|Check for Updates and make sure you've installed SP2
for Office 2003.

Apart from Echos suggestion which is vital, two things to try

On the original home computer got to tools > options > save and turn off
"allow fast saves"

Open and resave the file on the hard drive
Drag it on to the removable media dont directly save as on to the flash
drive / floppy whatever

Did that answer the question / help?
