Error message connecting

Hi everybody,
Has anybody seen this error message before:

Unexpected server response.
Microsoft Project has returned and unexpected response.
Clik View button to view the server response as an error
message on your browser.

And then it says that you are not authorized to view this
page.

I'm logged in with my windows account and I have an
account on the sever and Administrator permissions .THe
Enterprise options _ on TOOLS_ are all available
(Enterprise Pool and Template etc.) but the _ OPTION _on
the TOOLS menu is grayed out and the Publish mneu is
grayed out also. I know I'm not conected to the server but
I dont' know why.

Hi - I am getting a similar error when trying to connect
from Project 2002 to the server ("test conection") - I get:

"The server
at 'http://epm.mycarenet.org/ProjectServer/' returned the
following error to Microsoft Project.
You are not authorized to view this page.
HTTP 401.2 Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server
configuration

I don't have a solution but we have all been looking at
it and getting nowhere.
