Error message immediately with Setup

Whe installing Office XP (Standard for Students), I
immediately get a warning that reads like this:

Header: Windows Installer

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resourse
that is unavailable.

Click OK to try agian, or enter an alternative path to a
folder containing the installation package
'510919.MAINSPI.msp in the box below."

My Windows Explorer couldn't locate this file. I am using
Windows ME.

I'm lost. Any idea what all this means?

Try copying the CD to your hard drive first and then run the installation
from there.
