Error message in Outlook 2007

All of a sudden, Outlook 2007 has stopped sending emails. I get a error code
'0x80040607'. How do I fix the problem? This is happening with all email
addresses I am trying to send emails to.

This issue is usually caused by having a virus scanner installed which
integrates with Outlook. Uninstall this integration part of your virus
scanner and try again; you'd still be sufficiently protected by your
