Error message "No picture editor is configured"

Received this message when trying to edit text on a single page in a Web I
previously created with FrontPage.

Several sentences appear to be grouped together as a "picture."

After the first message appears, this second message appears.
"This picture was automatically generated from Vector Markup Language data
stored elsewhere in the page. Changes to this picture may be lost if this
page is opened again using the application that originally generated the
page. Also, changes may not be visible in browsers that support VML."

Both messages have OK buttons that allow me to click out of the message, but
when I do I am still unable to edit any region of the page.

That means your text was created as Word Art.
Therefore it will need to be edited in Word Art.

Be advised that word art is "quirky" and also will only display properly
in Internet Explorer.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply, but I don't think this is the answer.
I created a text box in the FrontPage WYSIWYG, positioned it on the page,
and then typed in the text box. I did not use or insert Word Art.
Any other possibilities?
many thanks
