I’m receiving this error message and have read Allen Browne’s helpful
documents on fixing the problem. I am using Vista with Access 2007.
One of the developers on XP with Access 2007 saved the 2003 (mdb) test
database to 2007 (accdb), then I saved it back to 2003 (mdb). Now the
2003 version is calling the Access 12.0 Object Library on the Vista
and XP machines and we are getting the error message.
Is this what Allen is referring to as “mixing versions of Access”? Is
saving a 2007 database as a 2003 version in Vista causing the problem?
And if so, do I need to re-install Access 2007 on my machine only, or
on my developer’s machines as well?
Thanks for the advice. I appreciate your time.
