Error Message: There was an error generating the XML document

I attempted to run a project task list as follows:

Business Contact Manager Menu -> Reports -> Business Projects -> Project
Tasks Per Project

The report is generated; however, when I attempt to export to Excel I
encounter the following error:
"There was an error generating the XML document"

Any suggestions?

Would have to see error logs generated by this export. I'd also try to
run this report on another computer connected to this BCM database.

I'd open a ticket with Microsoft. Office support is pretty inexpensive.

Hi Rachel

I'm sure that the Business project that your trying to print a report for
should be linked to a business contact .

Can you check and let me know if any of the account name field contain a '
(single quote) and If so remove it and see if you

can repro the issue .
