We have an automated mail merge application running on
Windows Server 2003. If a request comes in while another
request is still running, Word displays the error "Word
cannot open the existing '". I believe it's because the
Normal.dot is already in use with the first request,
however I thought you could have multiple instances open
and we did not have this problem when running on Windows
NT Server.
