Error Message when opening Outlook 2007

Everytime I open Outlook 2007 I get the following error message:

"A data file did not close properly the last time it was used and is being
checked for problems. Performance might be affected while the check is in
progress."

After a while the message goes away and everything is fine.

How do I stop that message from appearing?
