Error Message when opening web page

When trying to open my web page for editing, I suddenly
started getting the message 'unknown error has occurred
and It won't open. I have FP 2000 and Windows XP. I have
McKaffee Virus and firewall. I have tried disabling both
and that didn't help. When trying to open from the web
page using 'edit with Front Page', I get the message that
FTP/IP (Or something like that) is not installed or
installed incorrectly. I have Comcast Broadband. Any
help out there?

Hi,

no need to repair installation ,

Start run -Regedit
Scroll down to
hkey-current-user/software/microsoft/office/10.0/frontpage(remove the
Frontpage key
close the registry
open Frontpage - it should say preparing to install, may prompt you for your
CD - just put that in, then it will refresh the registry and then it will
install brand new version of frontpage - default settings that you might
have to change to your liking,
that should sort out you issue
