Error message when sending emails

When I try to send an email, and error message appears
and says that outlook has to shut down. It also states
that the message is not sent. However, the message gets
sent to the address three or four times. What is going on?

Not sure but it sounds like a virus, I would make sure
that your virus definition file is up to date, do a fully
system check and then run Stinger which can be obtained
from http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/averttools.asp
