error message when trying to upload a photo

Every time I try to save a picture on my FP200 website I get an error message that reads;
"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files - Authors, if authoring against a web server please contact the webmaster. Webmasters - please see the webmasters system log."
The picture is one that I downloaded from my digital camera in jpg. I cannot find anything wrong with it and I don't know how to access the server's system log. Can you help me? Thank you.

What web host are you using?

I think you need to contact them. They have access to the logs.

Sometimes you get this message when you are just moving things around from
one part of your computer to another. I have a web that I inherited from
someone else, and every time I try to publish it to another location on my
own computer, I get the same message halfway through. I have done all the
usual repairs, but it still happens, and only on this one web. And, of
course, I cannot find any webmaster's system log on my own computer. If I
look at the web in FP or in IE, everything is fine.

Something you could try:
Copy your files (web pages, graphics, etc.) to a new folder, and in
FrontPage make that into a web.

Give it a fresh start...

The only issue I can think of would be the file size, is exceed a limit
somewhere.

That's exactly what my problem was. There was an enormous photo that was
resized on the page with html, but the photo was 1.5 megabytes. After I
reduced the size of the photo, I stopped getting the error.

I am having the same problem. I have tried everything I
can think of, with no results, I get the error from two
differnt webs, and it is getting quite old.
