Error message when trying to use BCM

I have installed the add in of Business Contact Manager onto my work PC. I
went in to File Data Management, set up the data base, went through the
wizard. I activated BCM by going in to the .exe files. BUT, the program never
shows up in the tool bar. When I shut down to restart after the install, I'm
getting an error message that Business Contact Manager was removed because it
cannot be used with a microsoft exchange email profile. Does this mean I
cannot use BCM in our office? Please advise, I've exhausted all my resources
and knowledge base on this one.
