Error message: Word cannot find the hyphenation file

I want to hyphenate part of my document. It worked on the first try but now I
keep getting this message: "Word cannot find the hyphenation file."

How can I restore the hyphenation file without having to reload the entire
program?

I'm using Word 2002 and Widows XP Home.

Are you using a language for which you do not have proofing tools installed?
Or perhaps the language of the text is set to "Do not check spelling and
grammar"?

Thank you for responding to my question. I closed the program and reopened
with another document. I then attempted to hyphenate using the manual option
and it performed appropriately, so whatever was preventing it on the other
document has cleared itself.

I'm sorry I troubled you...thanks again.
