ERROR MESSAGE: WRONG TIME ZONE?????

J

John Chavez

Hi Folks,

I recently got a message on the appointment header (in yellow) stating a
conflict in my computers time zone and the event time zone.

"Event Time zone: Pacific Time (US & Canada); Tijuana (Displayed)
Your computer's time zone: Central Time (US & Canada)"

My computer is set at Pacific. There is no conflict.

Why is it doing this?

John,

Check Entourage --> Preferences --> Calendar

Then, look to see what you have sent for the "Default time zone for new
events:"

HI John,

This exact thing happened to me when I was in Puerto Vallarta the day
the time changed to Daylight Savings, but it was just coincidental,
and continued when I returned to SF Bay area...it just corrected
itself after a week. I went into Preferences for default time zone
settings as the other reply said, but everything was correct....it
just finally stopped. It was making my appointments an hour later that
they were and was crazy making until it just stopped...
