Error message

I am trying to download clip art to insert into my Publisher 2000 design, I keep getting error message: Installation engine failure: error loading type library/DLL. I got this same message while trying to install software for my Sony digital camera. I have tried everything to resolve this. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem??? I use Publisher to make documents for my work, without it I'm jobless. I've been unable to work for 3 days now, running out of time I have a deadline. I would sincerely appreciate anyone's help, guidance, expertise or suggestions. Thanks to anyone who responds!

What version of Windows are you using?

Empty your Internet Explorer Cache and reboot your computer for a start and
try again.
