So ... I bought a copy of FrontPage 2003. I used it to create a local
web, but when I tried to publish it to my internet site, I received the
message:

500 'T': command not understood

What does this mean???

Thanks in advance.

It means that the Server sent an error 500 with the mentioned
description which FP didn't understand. Contact your provider to resolve
this.

This makes sense to me. I contacted my provider (valueweb), and they
suggested that I reinstall the FrontPage extensions on my web site. I did
this, but I'm still getting the same error message. I'm not sure where to go
from here. I love FrontPage 2003 but I need it to interact with my web site
.... right now, I'm using FrontPage to work on my site locally, then using
WS_FTP to transfer the files to the web (requiring a lot of time and effort).
Anyway, thanks for your advice.

Using FTP to move files to a FP extended web will corrupt the extensions.
Reinstall the extensions, then in FrontPage, with the local copy of the web
open, use File-Publish to publish the web. In the publish dialogue type in
the destination address in the form http://yourdomainname.com .

Eureka! That worked. And thanks for the advice about using FTP ... I've
replaced all the files on my site, that I had transferred with WS_FTP, with
fresh copies. Everything is up and running and FrontPage is interacting with
my site flawlessly.
Your help is very much appreciated, Ron.

All the best to you,
Dennis
