error message

I keep getting the error message:
Microsoft Word: WINWORD.EXE - Application Error
: The instruction at "0x01f6216b" referenced memory
at "0x00000000". The
: memory could not be "read".
I have uninstalled and reinstalled and have the same
error. Any help would be appreciated.
