When I open any of the office programs I get -
and error occured and this feature is no longer
functioning propertly. would you like to repair this
feature now.. I select yes
it give me a box saying preparing to install.
then give me the following error message -
Ms Outlook cannot install the nesseary files due to
window installer error 1635.
This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the
patch package exists and that you can acccess it or
Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a
valid Windows Installer patch package.
I have tryed to remove office using control panel add or
remove programs and I get the the patch package error
I have tryed to reinstall and I still get the error
message... I have searched the knowledge base and tried
the patch panel fix by installign the windows install
clean up program - but no dice there either ... Does
anyone have a suggestion to solve this problem?
