my son keeps getting this message when he tries to use explorer 7. "The
required lookup key was not found in any active activation context." This
happened after he upgraded to ie7 from ie6. After you click "ok" - the
program closes and will not open.

Try posting this to a group that supports the Operating System you are using - either Windows XP or Windows 2000 - it is not an Office issue.

After furious head scratching, gs asked:
