Hi,

your error log mentions framework and component plug-in errors. These
types of error are usually the result of an improperly applied update.
Try reapplying the latest updates and see if that solves your problem.

I am getting the same message. I have totally removed the program and
reinstalled, including updates with no luck. It was working fine until today.
I have not installed anything new so I don't know where the problem might be.
Especially since the last update is 11/09 and the program was working fine
until today.

In the future, please start your own thread. This will give us all your info
to start helping you and the replies between who is being addressed won¹t be
confusing.

Have you restarted your computer?

Have you tested in a new User? Go to System Preferences --> Create a New
User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User
Switching. Test Office there.

Same happens here for the entire family of Office programs. I have checked the new user approach suggested and everything seems to work fine. Is there something I can do with my existing account?

I tried to reinstall the updates but no luck. I was thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling but it looks like someone else did that with no luck. Also, if I did that would it use up one of my "3 uses on up to 3 macs per household"? We just go this at christmas and it's already having problems.

You can use the CD keys on a re-install. Office doesn¹t activate a product.

Re-install usually is the best option when it will not update.
