I can't figure this out for the life of me! I'm using
Office 2000 Pro for a college course I'm taking. I've
loaded all the files needed for the course, into my Jump
pro 2.0 flash drive. When I finish working with them in
the classroom, I save my work to the flash drive
and 'safely' unplug it. I reload the new files onto my hd
at home, to work on. When I try to change anything, in a
table, db, etc., I get this error.. "Microsoft Jet has
stopped the action because you and another user are trying
to make changes at the same time"... ???
I need help! This has happened to me twice now, the first
time I had to reload fresh files and do all the work over.
I'm much farther into the course now and don't want to
have to redo all I've done again!
Are there any settings I can change/turn off, etc., to
stop getting this error and continue working? Anyone ever
heard of this problem? Help please someone.
Thanks very much,
Cat
