Error msg" Cannot insert duplicate key in object'MSP_TASK_BASELINES"

While entering task in project pro 2002 client i got this
error message "Cannot insert duplicate key in
object 'MSP_TASK_BASELINES" with unique
index "I_MSP_TASK_BASELINES"

does any one know what could be wrong and any way to
prevent this

Jack:

It sounds like you've been cutting and pasting entire rows in Project, which
creates a duplicate task. Is this the case? If so, copy only the information
you need, not the entire row by selecting the row selector.
