error 'object could not be found' when using 'Search Folders'

Trying to see my unread messages by clicking on 'Search Folders' in my
Navigation Pane. None of these predefined searches will work. Get the error
message 'The operation failed. An object could not be found.'

Thanks much. You guys always fix me up!
