Dear All,

My friend got "[ODBC SQL Server Driver] Communication Link Failure" when she
save or publish the project.

Please suggest what should we do?
(We are using EPM 2003, MS Project Pro 2003 Client SP3.)

We have tried save the project as local (.mpp) and imported the project.
We still got the same error when republish the project.

Sometimes, we also got Server Spooler: "SYSTEM ERROR 0x80004005".

Please help!

Dear Gary,

Thank you very much for your kind response.
Could you please give more detail step-by-step procedure?

Whare can I down load the EditSite tool 2003?
What should I do to solve the problem?

Thank you in advance.

If you do not have the EditSite tool for 2003, download it and run the test
function on your instance. This may reveal where the issue is occurring.

Hi All,

One of the users here is experiencing exactly the same problem as the one
described (and this was working before). I will try the Edit Site Tool but in
the meanwhile, i would like to know if some progress have been done on the
issue.

Thanks

Got to Microsoft download site and search for both Edit Site and Site
Editor. One term returns the 2002 version, the other term returns the 2003
version. Read the instruction that come with it. Ask specific follow-up
questions after you get this far.
