error on Outlook close

Outlook2003 on WinXP-SP3

Every time I close Outlook I get the old "Send Error Report" message (even
though 'disable error reporting' is configured in advanced properties).

"MS Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience. blah blah blah."

Then a check box next to "Restart MS Office Outlook" is offered.
Since I just closed Outlook, I don't restart.
Next startup is flawless.

Recent development. Has been error free for several months.

Any clues????
